5 Good Habit to Develop At Work #LoveYourJob

That’s the magic of a loved job! But many times this magic remains in the initial years and as the time passes the job becomes dull and mundane. This not only affects one's financial success but also affect the quality of life.

If you don’t enjoy something you spent ⅓ of your life doing, you can’t be happy. No wonder the continuous dissatisfaction can be frustrating and mentally disturbing. Thankfully this can be changed once you know the issue. The root cause that lies behind the growing dissatisfaction.

Work is never easy but it never burdens if you do what you enjoy the most. So if you are not passionate about your work then don’t continue further. You will never love it! But, what about if your current job is your real passion? Why are you then finding it dull, boring or monotonous? There can be several reasons.

Corporate working can get difficult due to a number of reasons. Such as long working hours, tight deadlines, conflicting demands, internal politics, no appraisal, bullying within the workplace, and the list can go on and on.  The list is long and full of reasons.

So here are few good habits to ignite the lost fire and charm. Take a look


  • Recall the Positive Side

There are a number of reasons which can make you feel negative at work. This can not only make the work boring but also affects your confidence. So it’s important to take the charge of the trash and look the positive side.

Remind yourself of the positive things at the work. It may be the coworkers, everyday tasks, a great friend, or your happening social life that’s possible because of your work. These slight reminders can help you feel good, positive & motivated in the workplace.


  • Take New Challenges
Are you an asset or liability to the company? Does your existence in the company can be easily replaceable? Do you take roles other than your department in the company? These are some of the questions you need to think about. If you want to succeed in the private sector and want to get a big fat check. You need to continue work on yourself.

Be curious and learn new skills. Then try applying those skills and suggest to your team, boss or coworkers. These small things make a big difference and will determine your appraisal and promotion. Plus, it will keep you always active & energized at work.


  • Detox Your Space
If you think it’s just work that’s enough for you to stay motivated, then you are wrong. The environment plays an important role in helping us to stay focused. So if your desk or drawers are disorganized or filled with trash, you need to declutter them first.

An organized, clean and tidy desk can boost you to work. Plus, you must also change your desk frequently. Research suggests that working in the same place for a long time can affect the work quality.  So shifting is the key to keep your work fresh and focused.


  • Learn to Take Breaks
Always remember that your work is not above you! Corporate work can suck you complete if you don’t learn to take breaks. Frequent breaks not only gives you a relief from the work but it's great for rejuvenating too. So try to leave your desk, email, laptops unattended for some time and walk outside. Make sure you take frequent breaks and breathe fresh air even if it lasts for 5 minutes.


  • Review and Reward For the Good Work
It’s important to keep analyzing your work. Especially when you are making small changes in your daily work zone. So before leaving for home, wait a minute and see what worked for you. Are you satisfied with your work? If the answer is “yes” then why not reward yourself? Changing habits is not easy and if you are able to do it you surely deserve some brownie points.

See your work as a game! After all, Life is meant to be fun. Moreover, its something you gonna do it one-third of your life. So you better learn to start enjoying it! There’s no better way to enjoy, live and happily grow in life along with financial success.
